Tom Albert is the Founder & CEO of MeasuredRisk. Albert is a visionary entrepreneur who has been bringing innovation and leadership to advanced technology markets for over 20 years. Known for identifying disruptive technologies and driving advancements across the cybersecurity and artificial intelligence landscape, Albert is considered a pioneer in creating highly differentiated solutions to protect organizations from risk.
Starting his career on Wall Street working with top global financial institutions, Albert transitioned to various leadership roles within Oracle, Symantec and Rainbow Technologies. Joining Cisco’s team in 2007 Albert managed the National Security Operation, a $320 million-dollar line of business within the U.S. Federal market segment and managed the U.S. Federal Civilian security business. Albert was chartered with designing and building their go-to-market strategy, solution portfolio, and crafting messaging frameworks which are still in use today. Albert also served as Vice President of Corporate & Business Development for Lancope where he worked on the creation of strategic partnerships spanning global markets, developing a strategic route to market that drove over 300% YoY growth resulting in the $452M acquisition by Cisco in 2015.
Building MeasuredRisk, Albert sought to redefine how business and government leaders can mitigate impending risk through predictive artificial intelligence.
MeasuredRisk has pioneered the Risk Foresight market through the introduction of its flagship platform, Black Swan, enabling leaders to anticipate supply chain risk on a global level. — Albert’s work as an industry expert and frequent speaker on the topic of cybersecurity and business risk spans major news networks and industry publications. Albert holds a patent in Identifying and Profiling of Cybersecurity, Operational and Geographic Risk.
Albert is the Producer of “The Cyber Field” Podcast, where he hosts global leaders to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals entering the field, and has also developed a course to train new leaders the industry of cybersecurity. Albert is a mentor for The Honor Foundation (THF), a career transition program for U.S. Special Operations Forces. Albert’s flagship book, “The Deep Risk: A Leaders Guide to Navigating Modern Complexity” will be released in 2022. Tom Albert holds a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
